In today's workplace, there are leaders and managers. Although these titles are used interchangeably, the roles and outcomes are different.
What is leading?
It is seeing the value in others, helping them to grow and evolve into the person that will bring them to their purpose.
What is managing?
It is making sure all the goals, tasks and objectives are accomplished for the team or department.
How can you be an effective leader?
Identify the strengths and weaknesses of team members and employees.
Allow creativity and growth.
Build relationships based on authenticity.
Develop communication skills.
Create work environments that are conducive to growth and development.
