Mental Health Awareness Month

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, an in-person panel discussion will be held at 1331 Union Avenue, Suite 1035 in the Memphis Medical District.


The panel discussion will focus on Mental Health and Self-Care. This is the 2nd annual Mental Health Awareness Month event.


In 2020, there was an increase in telehealth services due to the COVID-19 pandemic according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.


The panelists are Dr. Karen Streeter, licensed school psychologist, Brandy Flynn, mental health counselor and Teresa Phelps, advanced grief recovery specialist and life coach.

On May 13 6pm - 7pm, Dr. Jhonika 'Kia' Richard will conduct a Mental Health and Wellness workshop. Dr. Richard is a licensed professional counselor with a mental health service provider credential and a PhD in psychology. This workshop is approved for 1 AAPC CEU. To register, click here.
